How to Connect a Device to SVA’s Guest Wireless Network
Note 1: Registration to obtain guest access credentials must either be done prior to arrival at the SVA campus, or from a cellular-enabled device on campus. Once those credentials are obtained, they can be used on laptops, tablets, etc. This access requires you to install an SSL certificate. The guest credentials is valid for 24 hours from the time of first login.
Note 2: Although the obtaining of guest credentials can be repeated as often as necessary, you must FORGET the "SVA Guest WiFi" network name each time your credentials expire. This is because the installed SSL certificate and previous credentials are associated and stored as long as that network remains remembered. Failure to forget the "SVA Guest WiFi" SSID will prevent you from connecting on that device with the newly assigned credentials.
Please remember that SVA only supports 802.11a/n or 802.11a/n/ac (5-GHz) wireless devices.
